Dr. Gothelf received his medical degree in New York at the Upstate Medical Centre in 1995. He completed his Orthopaedic training at the prestigious Mount Sinai Medical Centre in New York City in 2000 and was elected Chief Resident in his final year of training.
Dr. Gothelf completed two fellowships in Shoulder Surgery and Sports Medicine, in the United States and in Sydney. Emphasis was placed on advanced shoulder arthroscopy and the management of rotator cuff tears and instability.
Dr Popoff is a Shoulder, Knee and Elbow Surgeon with a special interest in arthroscopic (keyhole) and open soft tissue reconstruction surgery and arthroplasty.
He completed the Orthopaedic Training Scheme (Sydney) in 2002, before completing Fellowships in Knee Surgery with Dr Craig Waller in Sydney and Shoulder and Knee Surgery with Professor Bill Stanish at Dalhousie University Halifax Canada.
My particular specialties are knee, shoulder and elbow surgery. This includes: knee arthroscopy and ligament reconstruction; joint replacement of the knee, shoulder and elbow; and arthroscopic and open shoulder and elbow surgery.
I donate my time and expertise to consult and operate in Fiji each year as a volunteer as part of Orthopaedic Outreach. The philosophy of this organisation is to teach the resident surgeons to continue the treatment of the local patients after the visiting surgeon leaves, thus ‘teaching them to fish’ rather than just providing an inconsistent service to them.
Dr Yeoh completed his medical degree at the University of Sydney in 2000 and his orthopaedic training in January 2010. He then undertook further postgraduate training in Canberra and London Ontario, Canada. His Clinical Fellowship in Canberra specialised in upper limb and knee surgery, while his year in London Ontario specialised in hand and upper limb surgery through the world-renowned Hand and Upper Limb Centre.
Dr Yeoh performs all shoulder surgery except shoulder replacement surgery.
The Sydney Shoulder Clinic is a specialist shoulder service providing clinical care in physiotherapy, sports medicine and orthopaedic surgery. What makes us different is that we are a one-stop shoulder shop. What makes us unique is that we offer treatment on three levels of co-ordinated care - physiotherapy, sports medicine and orthopaedic surgery.
All you need to do is, call and speak with one of our physiotherapists who will assist you in determining what may be the best course of treatment - whether it be physiotherapy first or visiting one of our sports physicians or orthopaedic surgeons.
Each Sydney Shoulder Clinic practitioner has extensive experience in treating shoulder injuries. So please call anytime, and we can discuss your shoulder problem and arrange the most appropriate consultation for you at our Concord, Hurstville, Penrith or Randwick offices.
We are a subgroup of the Orthosports orthopaedic group. Orthosports is a team of dedicated orthopaedic surgeons, sports medicine physicians and physiotherapists. We offer comprehensive care with sports physicians, orthopaedic surgeons and x-ray onsite at Randwick, Concord, Penrith and Hurstville. Physiotherapy services are available at Concord.
