Our Team

Physiotherapy

Tim Neville

B.Sc (NSW), P.G.D. ManipulativeTherapy

Our physiotherapists are experienced clinicians with extensive experience in the assessment and management of shoulder disorders.

Our postgraduate qualifications, combined with this experience allows us to offer you the appropriate care that you are seeking. Our aim is to offer best practice shoulder care. For most people this involves being prescribed with a specific exercise plan that is usually performed as a home program. If your assessment indicates suitability for a gym exercise program, then an appropriate program/advice will be provided. Occasionally your assessment will indicate restricted shoulder movement which often requires a more intensive room’s based program.

Our experience with shoulder rehabilitation dates back to 1989. Since then we have fine-tuned our shoulder rehabilitation plans on a regular basis to provide up to date quality shoulder care.

Our Physiotherapists are experienced in the physiotherapy management of shoulder impingement, rotator cuff disorders, frozen shoulder and shoulder instability.

Sports Medicine

Dr Paul Annett

M.B., B.S. (Hons.1) F.A.C.S.P.

Dr John Best

M.Med., Dip. Sports Med. (London) F.A.S.P.

Our Sports Physician’s offer a medical assessment of your shoulder complaint. Our physicians are specialist trained in problems that affect the joints and muscles and have a strong interest in shoulder care. As such, even if your shoulder complaint is not sporting one, their training allows effective management of a wide variety of shoulder complaints.

Commonly this includes assessment and management of shoulder impingement, rotator cuff disorders, frozen shoulder and shoulder instability. The Sports Physician can arrange diagnostic imaging as required, as well as co-ordinating your shoulder care management.

Our Sports Physician’s can prescribe medication to help manage shoulder inflammation as well as your pain. Often, shoulder complaints that have an inflammatory basis benefit from an anti-inflammatory injection into the shoulder. The Sports Physician’s are skilled at administering this injection.
